High Power and Speed Response Energy Storage System:


Focused on the research, design, and development of cost-effective hybrid energy storage systems for aeronautical applications, this project delivers solutions to optimize energy management in both on-ground and onboard environments.

Key features include:

  • Hybrid technology for an optimal power-to-energy ratio.

  • High-speed response to stabilize power buses.

  • Integration of multiple energy sources.

  • Distributed generation and consumption management.

  • Scalable systems delivering up to 250 kW power output.

 

Avionics Design and Integration: Universal Fire Extinguishing Control System (FOAM):


This project involved the development and manufacturing of a universal control system prototype for the fire extinguishing system of A119 Koala helicopters. Designed for integration into Spanish Aeronautics Company platforms, the system includes:

  • Activation and management of chemical agents.

  • Control of deposit openings and delay mechanisms.

  • Emergency and alarm handling for operational safety.
